Golden Cupcakes

Just a quick post to show off some lovely simple cupcakes that I made for some friends' golden wedding anniversary....

                                                     

My lovely friends asked me to bake 75 cupcakes for their golden wedding anniversary and gave me the cupcake cases as inspiration. I thought I would keep these simple, and baked a variety of vanilla, chocolate and red velvet cupcakes with a vanilla icing. Very little decoration needed here as the cases did most of the work - I simply used an edible gold shimmer spray and following my motto "you can never have too much glitter" sprinkled on some edible gold glitter for luck!
